This song was inspired by the despicable Dick Cheney who championed the process of "extraordinary rendition" - a system designed because the USA could not be seen to be engaged in routine tortue, resulting in the transfer of suspects to countries which were less squeamish about such things. This is based on what I understand to be a true story.
